It's been a while since I did anything with this opening page. Sorry!
Back in October 2008 we went to East Sussex on the "Hastings Flyer" weekend and stayed at the Europa Hotel on the seafront. There were 14 of us all told with a special guest on the Saturday night. Shelagh Milligan. We spent the whole evening together. Shelagh was wonderful.

Our meeting place, The Jolly Tanners at Staplefield, in deepest darkest Sussex (just off the A23). You can join us first Monday of the month in the small side-room, for drinks & a chat, listen to some long-forgotten shows, watch a video, have a few laughs, whatever. If the first Monday falls on a bank-holiday, then we meet on the second Monday. OK. Everyone welcome…

If you enjoy the Goons but are unsure about sending money to some stranger, then just write to the GSPS Membership Secretary, at the address on the second subs form and ask for a free trial magazine before you commit yourself. Please enclose an A5 sized sae though to save the old GSPS masses of postage money… Thanks.
